About

Solis & Luna Consulting is a South African technology studio built on a straightforward conviction: the discipline that large corporates pay enterprise money for should be available to a business with eleven staff. We started in IT service management and compliance, which is an unusual place to build websites from — and it is precisely why our clients keep us.

Where we come from

Solis & Luna Consulting started in IT service management — the unglamorous discipline of making sure a business's technology actually works, is documented, and does not fall over. Service catalogues, incident management, ITIL 4 process design, POPIA compliance. We are a certified Xurrent partner, and that work is still a real part of what we do.

Websites and software came next, and they came from clients asking. A business we had just helped get its IT in order would say the site was embarrassing, or that the system they were promised had never arrived. So we started building. It turned out that coming at web development from a service-management background produces a noticeably different result: documented, monitored, secure, and built to be handed over rather than to create dependency.

Who we are

Solis & Luna was founded in 2021 by two people with deliberately different backgrounds — one in IT service management, one in finance. That combination is why the prices hold and why the technical work is documented.

Janice Naidoo

Co-founder & Director IT service management

Came into consulting from a senior IT role, and founded Medi Diary — the patient-owned health record covered by ITWeb and protected under South African provisional patent 2025/10081. An ITIL Managed Professional, and the reason the studio builds the way it does.

Warren Schippers

Co-founder & Director Finance

Brings the financial side of the business — the commercial discipline behind fixed prices that hold, proposals that mean what they say, and a studio that quotes what it can actually deliver.

What we will not do

We will not hold your domain or your code hostage. We will not quote one number and invoice another. We will not put a testimonial on this site that somebody did not say, or an award badge we did not win. And we will not take a project we are not right for — there are studios better suited to enterprise-scale work, and we would rather point you at one than waste your money finding out.

Tell us what you are trying to build

A short message is enough to start. A person reads every enquiry and replies within one working day — and if we are not the right fit for your project, we will say so instead of selling you something.
